Antonio Gabriel López Herrera

Antonio Gabriel López Herrera es profesor Titular en el departamento de Ciencias de la Computación e Inteligencia Artificial de la Universidad de Granada (UGR). Es Ingeniero en Informática (2003, UGR), Doctor en Informática (2006, UGR), Licenciado en Documentación (2007, UGR) y Máster en Información Científica (2008, UGR).
Sus líneas de investigación incluyen el acceso, recuperación, filtrado y evaluación de la información, sistemas de recomendaciones, minería de opiniones, análisis de sentimientos y bibliometría.
Imparte docencia en la ETSI Informática y Telecomunicación (UGR) y en la Facultad de Comunicación y Documentación (UGR).
De 2005 a 2008 fue profesor en el departamento de Informática en la Universidad de Jaén (UJA).
De 2012 a 2020 fue Vicedecano de Ordenación Académica y Calidad de la Facultad de Comunicación y Documentación (UGR).
Actualmente es Subdirector de Docencia, Calidad y Planificación de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenierías Informática y de Telecomunicación.

Antonio Gabriel López Herrera is Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Granada (UGR). He holds a degree in Computer Engineering (2003, UGR), a PhD in Computer Science (2006, UGR), a degree in Library Science and Documentation (2007, UGR) and a Master in Scientific Information (2008, UGR).
His lines of research include information access, retrieval, filtering and evaluation, recommendation systems, opinion mining, sentiment analysis and bibliometrics.
He teaches at the School of Computer (UGR) and at the Faculty of Communication and Documentation (UGR).
From 2005 to 2008 he was professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Jaén (UJA).
From 2012 to 2020 he was Vice-Dean of Academic Planning and Quality of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation (UGR).
He is currently Deputy Director of Teaching, Quality and Planning of the Higher Technical School of Computer and Telecommunications Engineering.
