Application for incoming students

The University of Granada has an on-line Application Procedure for incoming students. Detailed instructions and on-line Application can be found at the International Relations Office website and the associated folder.

First of all you must know what your status is:

  • Erasmus (including Switzerland) student
  • Exchange (NO ERASMUS) student
  • Free Mobility (NO ERASMUS) student

If you do not know the difference, please read carefully this information. It is very important to apply using the appropriate application status.

Keep in mind that in Spain, undergraduate degrees are four years long. Therefore, you can be nominated as an undergraduate student while being in a master's program at your university. If your nomination is not for an undergraduate degree, but for a master's degree, then please contact epinternacional@ugr.es. They will assist you with your enrollment process.

All international students who will go to study to University of Granada have to check the Application deadlines in the next link and complete the application procedure following these instructions.

Applicants must make sure that their Home University has forwarded their personal details to the corresponding Faculty or School of the University of Granada. This is an absolutely necessary step in order to start the online application procedure.

Note for ERASMUS and Swiss incoming students: please make sure that your Home University has sent your nomination by email to etsiit-relaciones@ugr.es or etsiit_mobility@ugr.es

  • We only need your name, surname, ID/Passport Number and study area code in order to validate your application.
  • It is not necessary to send any document (just the nomination e-mail), since all your data will be saved on the on-line application.

Regarding the enrollment process, you can consult the available subjects in the links below. Please, keep in mind that the number of vacancies for mobility students is reduced in the elective courses. Therefore, you have to be patient. Once that you arrive to Granada, we will help you if you need to choose any other subject from other Faculties/Schools.

It is really important that you consult for each subject the teaching guide ("Guía docente"), where you can read about the evaluation procedure for each course as well as the name and emails for contacting the different professors. It is important to understand what you will have to do to pass the subject. Remember, that here at UGR we have two opportunities (two exams) for each subject: ordinary exam and extraordinary exam
